New Seismocardiographic Measuring System with Separate QRS Detection
نویسندگان
چکیده
The Quantitative seismocardiography (Q-SCG) opens a new field of cardiovascular dynamics examination. Cardiac ejection of blood into the aorta generates a reaction force on the body that can be measured externally via the Q-SCG. Systolic forces as well as heart rate variability in relation to changes in external stimuli are registered. Q-SCG probably offers a more complex view of both isotropic and chronotropic heart functions. It will be suitable for: examining operators exposed to stress; for assessing the effect of work, fatigue and mental stress; for monitoring persons as part of disease prevention. A new electronic system for acquisition of data for noninvasive Q-SCG and signal processing was developed. For better Q-SCG signal important points detection also the QRS complex is detected and simultaneously registered. Key-Words: Analog filter, blood pressure, force sensor, heart rate, QRS complex, quantitative-seismocardiography, systolic force, sporttester.

Neuro-ANFIS Architecture for ECG Rhythm-Type Recognition Using Different QRS Geometrical-based Features
The paper addresses a new QRS complex geometrical feature extraction technique as well as its application for electrocardiogram (ECG) supervised hybrid (fusion) beat-type classification. To this end, after detection and delineation of the major events of ECG signal via a robust algorithm, each QRS region and also its corresponding discrete wavelet transform (DWT) are supposed as virtual images ...
متن کاملA New Algorithm for Fetal QRS Detection in Abdominal Recordings
The acquisition and the analysis of electrophysiological signals are often followed by the detection of parameters of clinical importance. In the case of fetal electrocardiogram signal, the presence of QRS complex is the best indicator of the fetal heart rate, as it is directly correlated with the fetal cardiac activity. However, to detect this complex, it is necessary to separate the signal fr...
متن کاملAlgorithm for Automatic Detection of Ecg Waves
An accurate measurement of the different electrocardiogram (ECG) intervals is dependent on the accurate identification of the beginning and the end of the P, QRS, and T waves. Available commercial systems provide a good QRS detection accuracy. However, the detection of the P and T waves remains a serious challenge due to their widely differing morphologies in normal and abnormal beats. In this ...
متن کاملA New Resource for Independent and Blinded Assessment of QRS Detection Algorithms
We describe a new resource for developers of QRS detection algorithms that provides a standardized assessment of algorithm performance that is blinded, objective, independent, and reproducible. This overcomes the problems of using a single data set for both development and assessment that leads to favorably biased estimates of performance. Keywords— Electrocardiograms (ECG), QRS detection, perf...
متن کاملA Comparative Study in the Use of Brachial Photoplethysmography and the Qrs Complex as Timing References in Determination of Pulse Transit Time
For more than a century, there has been interest in pulse wave velocity and pulse transit time as a possible metric for blood pressure and other cardiovascular parameters. The most common approach in noninvasive measurement of these metrics has been to measure the time delay between the QRS complex on the electrocardiograph and the detection of the finger photoplethysmograph. This paper introdu...
